The Rose and the Cactus – Short Moral Story About Not Judging Others

Once upon a time, in a desert, a rose grew proudly. She admi-red her own beauty but disliked the cactus standing beside her.

Every day, she made fun of the cactus for looking so plain, while the cactus stayed quiet. One hot summer, the desert became dry, and there was no water left.

The rose began to wilt, her bright petals fading away. One day, she noticed a sparrow drinking water from the cactus. Surprised, the rose asked the cactus, though shyly, if she could also have some water.

The kind cactus agreed at once and shared his water. From then on, the rose realized her mistake and never judged anyone by looks again.

Moral: Don't judge others by appearance - true worth lies within.
